The mine recovery statue in Portsmouth is the Vernon Mine Warfare and Diving Monument, located in one of the pools at Gunwharf Quays. This 1.25 life-size bronze sculpture, created by Mark Richards, features a moored sea mine and two divers. It was installed in March 2020 and commemorates the Royal Navy's mine warfare and diving history, including the former HMS Vernon site.
