This design interprets Hugh Thomson’s famous peacock edition cover for Pride and Predjudice and brings the novel’s characters to life in a fun and memorable way. It resonates with the sponsor, Abstract, with their ethos to think differently. It is located just outside the railway station, the view will have changed since Jane’s time, as the station was completed in 1840 – after her death – she would have appreciated the speed and independence that the railways brought though!
